A Message From The Headteacher

Head

We are a Voluntary Aided Church of England Primary school for 3-11 year olds, based in North Yorkshire. We aim to be a highly inclusive school where everyone matters.

We endeavour to live out our vision each day in supporting every child to fulfil their potential. We value every child as a unique child of God supporting all children in their learning with very caring and dedicated staffgovernorsparents and carers.

We have close links with our local church, All Saints Church in Cawood.

I encourage you to browse around our website.  You will find details of school events, visitors and activities that serve to enliven the curriculum, alongside information about our after school clubs and extra curricular activities in which your children can participate.

We are very proud of the children and their achievements, and we have a very dedicated staff team that works hard, alongside governors, parents/carers, the church and the whole community to provide the very highest levels of education.

Please contact the school if you would like to know more about us or would like to look around the school. We are always happy to be of assistance, and we would love to hear from you if you have any comments or questions about our school.

Don’t forget to visit our newsletter section for a comprehensive listing of all of the important term events and I look forward to seeing you in school.

Best Wishes

Nick Payling, Head Teacher

HEALTH UPDATE regarding Covid/Flu

Our latest school newsletter in now available by clicking this link.

Our year 6 children are The Guardians of the Garth, and have carefully chosen some beautiful plaques which are engraved (so rubbings can be taken). They have thoughtfully picked locations which are safe and accessible for everyone to stop and have a go at making nature trail rubbings. Here’s their Garth trail.

They have also been busy looking after the Garth especially painting and weeding. Read more on the village website:
